Small Farm, Big Heart, Sustainable Harvest
About My Farm
Welcome to Notalotta Acres, where a dream met five acres of neglected land and began to bloom. This is my story of transformation, passion, and a commitment to regenerative agriculture.

In 2020, I embarked on a journey to breathe new life into my corner of southern Ohio. The land I acquired was far from the lush, thriving farm I envisioned. Neglect had taken its toll, leaving behind trash and burn piles, along with hundreds of discarded paint cans from the previous owner. But I saw potential where others saw despair.

For the past three years, I've dedicated my time and energy to revitalizing this land, one step at a time. Fencing and infrastructure improvements have been essential, providing a safe and secure environment for the heart of my farm.

During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, my commitment to self-sufficiency led me to my first addition – purebred Silverudd's Blue chickens. This unique and captivating breed lays enchanting green and occasionally speckled eggs, adding a touch of whimsy to my farm.

In 2022, I took another significant step towards regenerating the land. My first flock of sheep arrived, contributing to the farm's sustainable ecosystem. Mostly Katahdin and Dorper crosses, these hair sheep play a vital role in my mission by helping to clear overgrown pastures choked with briars and weeds.

At Notalotta Acres, I take pride in my dedication to sustainable farming practices. I focus on raising happy, healthy animals in an environment where they can thrive naturally. In the spring, I offer a selection of purebred Silverudd's Blue chicks and hatching eggs for those who share my passion for these unique birds. Additionally, I provide weaned lambs to homesteads looking to start or expand their own flocks.

During the "off season," I actively engage with the farming community, striving to learn more about regenerative agriculture techniques, fine-tuning my animal husbandry skills, and deepening my commitment to sustainable farming. I believe that a sustainable future starts with nurturing the land and fostering a strong sense of community.

Join me on this incredible journey as I continue to grow, learn, and nurture both the land and the bonds that connect me to the world of regenerative agriculture. Together, I'm sowing the seeds of a brighter, more sustainable tomorrow, one acre at a time.

Thank you for being a part of the Notalotta Acres story.
